11+ Tuition

Most primary schools do not teach maths to the level required by the 11+ exam, and students are often required to use mathematical techniques that they have not been exposed to in the classroom. We dedicate our course to focus on the particular skills and subject focus such as probability or fractions. These lessons provide your child with an understanding of areas that they may only have covered superficially at school.

Our English course is designed to familiarise students with the three most common test formats found in the 11+ exam: multiple choice, written comprehension and essay writing.

The lessons cover topics such as grammar, literacy techniques and logical analysis.

Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning

Our aim is to ensure that students are familiar with all the techniques and question types that come up in these exams.

Verbal reasoning tests a student’s vocabulary, grammar and logic skills, requiring students to recognise and understand the underlying skills that verbal reasoning demands.

Non-verbal reasoning papers require students to identify patterns and similarities between shapes and objects.

We familiarise our students with these questions allowing them to become confident in solving the problems with ease.
